That is good to know, I would have thought they shed a while before giving birth. Thanks Roland
So then she might only drop the rest of the babies in a few days when she sheds.

Shedding and dropping babies the same day is not good sign. The slough should happen about 2 weeks after dropping, and one about 3 months prior.

There has not been anything else today, she is calm and has been in more or less the same position since I got home from work, so it does not look like she is stressed or in pain or discomfort.

She last shed 28 January, weird.

Ideally birthing should happen in one event over a couple hours and this sporadic dropping of bits and bobs is not normal.
I agree with BB, maybe you should get her to a vet and do a sonar. Holding thumbs for you man.

I agree Byron, this is perhaps another reason why all the babies died.
It is better to be Pissed Off than Pissed On.
