Possible Dumeril Lock

Possible Dumeril Lock

Postby rolandslf » Tue May 24, 2011 12:08 pm

While on leave I witnessed this with my pair of Dumerils.
They are known to be skittish when mating so I did not interfere to the point where I saw actual penetration.
I did however manage to get these pics. The more knowledgeable can advise on their thoughts regarding possible lock up here.

Looks promising... only the arrival of live babies in a few months will confirm this.

Thank You for answering Byron.
I suppose I should get a bit excited because there is definitely some interest there.
As you say, time will tell.

Good luck roland.

They look like a nice big pair so you should expect lots of babies!

Congrats

Westley - Yip, they are 6 years old now. Last year produced nothing so I'm holding thunbs for this year.

Heidi - It was just by luck that I saw this. I wish you all the luck. How old are yours now?

Geez, If I remember correctly, they should be 3 or 4 years old now. Thanks.
