Boadicea they are not available an SA as far as I'm aware of. Never seen any babies for sale in the last few years. There are 2 phases, normal and mandarin phase, and each are from a different locality. Both phases fall under one species which I think should be reviewed. This means that I technically won't be cross breeding if I mate her with a normal male, but it just doesn't feel right to do this. I do have a pair of normals which I'll take pics and post soon. If I google for pics of mandarins none of them have the same tone as this one, they all are darker or have some green in them. I did have a male which looked exactly the same but rolled on me earlier this year, was a very sore day for me. He just stopped eating and nothing I did helped. What made it 10 times worse was that I just cannot find a replacement for him. I feel almost as if it's my duty to breed these animals, they are just too dam rare not to.
