Yes, I also would like to know how to breed with yellow anacondas. Can anyone tell my if you can put more than one anaconda in the same cage because I recently heard that Ball pythons can become canabilistic if you put them together, I know that it's not the same species but must I be worred?? :D I've got three anacondas living in the same enclosure and they are are about six to seven months old.

please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Wolf, wish I could help, but I've never even kept this species. And it seems not many people in here have kept or bred them!

Spowy_77 I doubt that they are cannibalistic though. As long as your snakes are around the same size/age, you should have no problems, just always feed them separately, as one could eat the other in a dispute over a mouse/ small rat, but i'm sure you knew this anyways!

Thanx Durdan keeper for the info.

I'm getting Ball pythons next month and don't really know whether I should put them in the say cage because I'm afraid that they might eat each other. Just till I can get more cages for them because the budget is'nt that big.

Yellow anacondas can be cannibalistic especially when they are young. To breed them you can follow the same regimen as you would with boa constrictors.

I am not sure that you want to breed these snakes as they can have large clutches of babies and sometimes people struggle to sell them as they are not very sought after.

Bush Viper's got a point. Saw a guy with a clutch of 41 Snakes trying to get rid of them at a mere R200 each. that's practically the price of a corn, besides. you have to feed support the hatchings while they are pending buyers. I also doubt it would be worth the effort. But it all depends on how passionate you feel about breeding or rather attempting to breed Anaconda's :-)
