Sounds like the wrong time of year to have 20 healthy eggs, when were they dropped?

Ozzy, Reptilians petshop is situated in Midrand, if you would like to try them. If you can wait till the expo, it may be a better bet as you will have a wider variety and possibly better prices.

They were dropped a while ago, close to hatching.
This guy, Martin, had a 100% hatch rate last season and didn't loose one and got them all to feed.
Yes they will be at the expo in Kyalami

He also hopes for rough scaled sand boas and a few ball pythons.

So keep your eyes open, and start saving!

@Eyed lizard, if im not mistaken he was the guy I bought my gtp from, he together with another guy called Vivian were selling them right? He showed me some pictures on his phone, had 20 eggs and all of them hatched. Really seems to know his stuff, I would recommend him to any one looking at buying a green tree python.

@ Wolf, yes I know :D he knows he's "stuff"
I went to see him the other day, and got some terrible news!
There was a power cut in his area and he lost half of the clutch as the UPS only runs for a few hours and the power was down for 11 hours!

I just wish there was a way we could sue the metropolitan!

But on that note, I suspect my carpet to be gravid, and I saw my two black Mexican King's lock up for about 30min last night, and these are pure, very little spots (max 2 spots on the adults) and no tiger stripes on them, the previous babies had no spots and still doesn't at about 6 months of age.

I am hoping to get some nice young this season as well!

Good luck to all the breeders out there!

That must be very hard to accept. You work your a@$ off to keep the snakes right and their temps, get them to mate and produce 20 eggs and then the power goes out. I would be very tempted to pay Eskom a visit if that happens to me.
