My new pair of Amazon tree boas

My new pair of Amazon tree boas

Postby michael » Mon Nov 14, 2011 10:39 am

I got this stunning pair of Amazons from a friend on this forum. These guys are probably the most relaxed amazons I’ve seen and very, very rarely will even attempt to bite. They have an amazing feeding response, and are just a pleasure to keep. I hope to breed them next year. I hope you enjoy.

Thanks guys. I just love their faces, I believe their German name translates to “dog head boa” and they are as cute as any puppy in my eyes!

Looking good Michael. Just love those eyes! Looks like a front yard photo shoot, tenants must love you ;)

Just a quick update on these guys. The female shed last night and the male was instantly interested. Before I went to bed I had a quick check on them and they were locked! Now the long wait begins to see what this produces.

Thanks Louis and Shadowfoot, I love the fact that they are like a luck packet, you just don’t know what you going to get.
