Wow very nice looking snakes awsome collors> Fooble how the hell can you tell that lens is dirty, I just took a magnifying glass and went over the pics but I can't see what your looking at?

Look at all the spots on the first picture. They're the most obvious there. Bottom half of the picture.

Read this on Wikipedia about the ATB's:

Male snakes also have spurs under their tail by the vent (the bony remainder of the hips and back legs) and will flail their bodies to bring these into play. The spurs are also used to assist in mating.


Is it true that the only the males have the spurs? I ask this question in this thread because you have a pair filled with awesomeness going there so comparison should be easy ;)

Haha...Thanks Hoss ! :D

Probing will be the way to go with these in my opinion. I couldn't see their tails now but will check when I clean them, I'm guessing the spurs will be minute so sexing them like that will be inaccurate. Both males and females have spurs (referring to pythons I know) but they are smaller in females than in males.
