Sorry to hear this Hammies. As soon as I see what you took a picture of I pick up each baby, push it's head through the embryonic sack and make sure it draws air into it's lungs. After that I put it back down and wait for it to free itself from the sack on it's own steam.

Well, next time has arrived!!

These were born yesterday.
When I got home I looked in on my Sand Boas, and lo and behold:

It is not from the same pair as last year, but I am still chuffed to have them doing fine this time.
The other female from last year is still gravid, so I am holding thumbs that I will catch her in the act as well.
i'm not a complete idiot, some parts are still missing!!

Very nice. Glad all worked out this time. Seems like a lot of these are hitting the market. I have just bought a pair. I don't see why there isn't a high demand for these critters. They are just stunning boas and they stay small.
