sand boa died unexpectatly

Hi guys i bought my very first pair of kenyan sand boas in may and they are awesome.
Two days ago my male shed his skin and yesterday he was dead laying on the bottom of the cahe all contorted.
they have a heating pad underneath the tank and is kept on 24/7 as it's still cold here at night
The female has no problem and fed today but the male just kicked the bucket, i did notice that the area where the Gal Bladder should be is very green.

Can someone please help me and tell me what i did wrong

Sand boas do not do well with heating pads under the sand. Use a spot light from the top to heat the cage. When it gets too hot they burrow down. Now if it gets too hot they burrow down and it becomes hotter.

The green spot just means it is decomposing. Thats pretty normal for a snake that has been dead for a while.
