Postby x.treem.wolf » Tue Feb 14, 2012 4:30 pm

Hey I got myself a nice little KSB but the sand I got in the tank is dusty and I was wondering if this can cause any health problems for my snake?

Thx in advance

The dust can cause respitory infection. It think it might be better to get sand that has bigger granules and not fine sand.

Just sieve the sand and wash it well before using it. They do better in a mixture of potting soil and sand.

hey, the best sand fo rthem is play pen sand that you can buy from baby city. its pre-washed and grains big enough not to create dust.

Hope you come right!
