Prestik on my ball python .. Help?

Hey guys,

Before the lot of you attack me on how idiotic i was to put prestic in my viv and all that, i'm well aware that is was a stupid thing to do and i really do need help please.

So i had prestik to hold up a light fitting, not a big amount and it's non toxic, the thing is my BP decided that's a cool place to hang out so he climbed up in there (i don't use the light at all, which is why it's not covered, and i did remove all the prestik from the viv now) and got some prestik on himself, at first i though it was poop cause he does poop in his hide and i have to bath him now and then to get it clean but this time the stuff did not come off so easily, he doesn't have much on him but i don't want little white blobs on him, i got most of it off though, any ideas how to get the rest off?

He's going to a reptivet on saturday for a general checkup and parasite shot so it's not a crisis but i'd like to get this stuff off him ASAP.

It might prove challenging considering that it is a strong animal, but if you can keep it still enough, for long enough I am sure that if you take a blob of prestik and very gently tapping and rubbing over it you should be able to get it off with enough patience and repetitions.

Let us know how it went.

Peanut butter or sun flower oil.
It is a bit messy but it works to loosen the Prestik.

Hey guys, so i took a blob of soft sticky prestik and i gently tapped it against him, it seemed to do the job .. there a minute piece i can't get off him but i'm doubtful it's worth a worry .. other than that little Timmy is prestik free =]
