I have loved these since i first saw them in that killer exhibit at Tvl snake park. I saw some at daytona show and was hooked again.... well bit the bullet and got one, and i have another pair on order to arrive at the end of the week,

For those of you who do not know what this is, it is a an Angolan Dwarf Python which was possibly the rarest python in captivity in the world. It is not that rare at the moment and the rareity staus has been overtaken by snakes such as Boelens pythons and Oenpelleni pythons for example.
These Dwarf pythons are now bred routinely and are not too expensive. (Couple of thousand dolars).
This is one species which was never exported legally to private individuals and all the seed stock was either smuggled or came from zoos. The one zoo took 18 years to breed them the first time and then bred them regularly after that.
I have had the priviledge of holding 4 captive born babies in my hands at one time here in Pretoria.
The only institution that still has this species is Monte Casino Bird Gardens who have the Transvaal Snake Park specimens.

They get a tiny bit bigger than Ball pythons and I have seen some of just on 2 metres. They average size is almost the same though.

yes, they are around 4k a pair or so
the guy i got these from had over 50 babies this year!!!
getting a pair for myself then a few for sale!!
