This topic is four years old. Those snakes are sh!t hot. I'll give anything. Can't someone do a few legal imports?

Durban keeper. Jay Brewer has some for sale and I will be chatting to him about sending them when he gets here next week. Even if you add 50% to the price they still come in at $3000 x R7-00 = R21 000-00 and after all the other costs (50%) they should end up at about R32 500-00 a pair of genuine captive bred legal beauties.

Durban keeper you said you would give anything. Now you know what you will have to give. I have booked the one pair but I am sure we can get more.

I have also been told that Monte casino are getting more of these pythons as well. Houston (or Dallas) zoo breeds many of these gems and I know they still have some agreement going back to the days of Transvaal Snake Park. It seems as if they will be restocking them with some. Between zoos the prices are something silly like $1000 each just to cover the paperwork and the cost of holding the animals till they get sent. They do not sell to private individuals. I know I asked.

I will be able to take a pair, but only later in the season. What sort of commitment do you need to get the ball rolling BV? I'm guessing you will only know once you speak to Jay?

32K is steap. But it's worth it in my opinion. Lets hope you get them into SA BV. Maybe a group of people can commit to do an import of a few pairs?
