indeed both are listed as cities 2 but for some odd reason , we required to keep certificates of origin for our angolans so that the animals bloodline can be traced back to the parents from whence they came . These documents are not issued for the likes of royals . If i am not mistaken , the angolan certificate of origin (proof they are captive bred and not wild caught imports) require information dating back to adults that have been microchipped and certificated as legally being in the country where they are being bred . I will double check my permits if i get time before i fly but i am sure they do require a tracable microchip number whereas royals do not . As i understand , we dont require import permits in the uk but when we export , we have to apply for export permits which include cities documentation . I dont see why we have to keep the certs of origin for the angolans if they are in the same catagory as royals ? either way , i dont recon anyone will purchase an angolan without this tracable record . I have spoken via email to defra over here in the uk with regards permits for the angolans should i breed them and thay have replied to say that they dont issue permits for them unlike the likes of my jamaicans which have to permited .
