Postby MrG » Fri Jan 07, 2011 11:28 am

The challenge is "Reptiles in Action".

Lets spread the word and ask all SArep members to participate.

Any reptile in action would count.(thx Silvrav)

This is a new competition but if you've got a realy good old photo it will be accepted.

Each image must have a short describtion to it (when, where, camera used, wild, captive, etc.)

2 images per member.

Prizes will be annouched soon but if there is any sponsors out there please let me know.
(Arno how about a course? :-P )

Pm me with questions.
Thx

This is a typical action shot but lets see how creative you can get....

Okay Mr G I will sponsor a place on one of the courses but if the person is in the Cape or somewhere then we are wasting it. If the person cannot make it to the course I will offer a grab stick in exchange as long as they can pay for the freight or have it picked up.

Please do not comment on this thread as it is just for the entries. Experimenting is not a good idea because you can only enter two photographs for the prize.

This is my Albino Burmese python (Python molurus bivittatus) shedding.
I hope this competition goes more about the 'action' of the photo than the quality because then I might stand a chance :smt010
Sorry for the bad quality but this photos were taken about 2:30 am 09/01/2011, lots of patience but I need that grabstick! :-)
It was taken with a Mobile Phone Camera (Samsung G600)

Here you can clearly see the shed coming off
