Thx James. Most were taken with my Canon 50d and 100-400mm. Taken from inside the vehicle at KNP. The versatility of the 100-400 lens is good and allows one to take images up close. The image of the Lion was taken with a Canon 70-200mm lens.

Cool. Not a bad set up. You must have been very close to get that pic with a 70-200 or did you do a bit of cropping!
Love the 70-200, one of my favorite lenses to shoot with!!

Very nice MrG. I particularly like the juvenile Bateleur picture.
An interesting fact about a Bateleur is that their scientific name, Terathopius ecaudatus, translates as "marvelous face" "without a tail".

Great photos indeed!When I saw those rhinos I couldn't help to wonder if they are still alive as we speak.Those images could be proof to our grandchildren or even children what they looked like at the rate things are going 
Must say,those images makes me a little homesick :p
