That Dasypeltis pic is great what a stunner!

That corn s... sorry i mean fiskii is great looks A LOT more orange then the specimens i've seen in the past can you comment about that?
That tail is so blunt to fantastic post made my week!

Thanks mate, still have a looong way to go before they are brilliant...hehe
Have you decided on a lens yet?

The orange is probably due to the "auto correct" function on Microsoft picture manager...LOL
Dont have time to edit the stuff decently(nor the program atm)
Apperently that is how their tails look.

The fiskii is COOL!!

I love the colour of that caudalis and the last eggeater.

Well done on all the finds!

Very interesting on the tail..it does not look natural.Whats with the tiny point?

Brilliant find! Would have been nice to have the front loop more in focus, but still a great shot.
I hope you're going to add it to ispot (without coords of course).

Could have gotten better DOF, just one of those bad luck photo sessions... it happens.

Just to add Henco , if i was you i would water mark that photo.
There are not many of this species around and it sucks seeing YOUR photo hosted on another bunch of sites normally written in German claiming rights to your image.


I noticed that end tail looks a lot like many of the lubricus tails short and blunted?

Awesome stuff Henco! I'm very jealous of the fiskii - I don't know too many people that have actually seen that in the wild (I certainly haven't!!) A good friend of mine found one when SARCA was still running and got some pretty cool pics of it too, so you are one of a very select few that I know of that have actually been lucky enough to find this species in the wild - well done!
