Last weekend I went with TH and a group of people (very intereseting group) to Hangklip.
I learned alot about amphibians and I can say they are much more fascinatiing than most people think...
My photos are obviously nothing compred to that of TH... Im still learning.

Henco you're far to modest!
Those are some great pics and stunning photo's!
Makes me envious to get myself down there again.

Thanks for the kind comments scavenger, fooble, rodwraylva and TH and it is always a pleasure sharing!

My favourite pic would be the Arum Lily Frog... and a lifer...

Mr Ping... My composition needs some work on the amphibians(and my editing - I over sharpend most of the pics)!
But these are all things one learn over time...
Make plans, you know you are always welcome down in the WC.

TH - Be prepared for some serious weekends, I still need to see a lot of amphibians!

Take me along please, :D I would love some time herping! I need it!!!!

My last trip which was ended as a herping trip was monday, dead molesnake Variation pannekoek, on road to Elsenburg, before that a 1.6m mole snake on the Eest coast road, to yzerfontein, was driven over by a car, but still moved, took pics, and seemed unharmed apart from the blood, no bruises on him. I hope he was not killed successfully in the meanwhile!

Thanx for sharing Henco.

The Western Cape caudalis are my favourite as they are so rare and unique.

That's the blackest T. sulcata I've seen. Very cool.

It's time like these that I miss home!

I enjoy sharing!!!!

I was so happy to finally found one, this was one of two DORs, the other was "biltong" though...LOL Ill post that pic as well.
It only had a few small white blotches on its belly... was not to camera shy either.
