Hi guys,
I found this little guy today while moving some logs on our property, he is +-30 cm long and as you can see busy shedding so I took a few shots with my phone and let him go on his way.
I am leaning towards Lycodonomorphus rufulus(common brown water snake). I am visiting my mother in Wilderness(Garden Route) and see they do occur here and we do have 2 dams and a river on the property. He was found about 10 meters away from the river.
Sorry for the bad quality pictures.
Regards
