URENT SNAKE ID!!!!!

Postby Ironfire » Thu Apr 03, 2014 4:58 pm

Hi I was looking around my garden when I flipped over a rock and found this little fella. I would really like to know what snake he is and if he is poisonous. It looked like it almost had faint white spots on it. The pictures aren't clear but I don't think it is an olive house snake. It had a dark blue/black tongue. I wonder where the mommy is? :-?

That's a Herald Snake. They are mildly venomous, but commonly considered harmless.

They feed on frogs so if you have a pond in the garden that is probably attracting them.
