Western and Northern Cape.

Postby Lourance Klose » Thu Oct 30, 2014 7:19 pm

It has been a slow year for me, I haven't been able to get into the field much. Made a weekend of it last week and here are some of the finds.

Many Horned Adder - Bitis cornuta.

Namaqua Dwarf Adder - Bitis schneideri.

Western Cape Gecko - Pachydactylus labialis.

Fisk's House Snake - Lamprophis fiskii.

I'm speechless. I hope you realize what a privilege it is to see those animals in their natural habitats.
What a dream.

This would have been 3 lifers for me!
Congratulations.

Laurance all the pictures are incredible. Not hard to guess which one I find mind blowingly awesome.

Awesome finds Lou!

Although obviously the Fisks is the winner, that nice orange schneideri is also a stunner.

Congrats on the awesome finds and I hope we get to see some more of subsequent trips.
