, funny thing the guy I spoke to warned me about that as well. Which is also part of the reason I wanted to ID this snake here. I have learned my lesson though, as we do have to remove quite a few snakes close to the house in the summer time, a Rinkhals included! I don't handle ANY snakes I cant positively ID, after a incident where we found a brownish yellow snake moving through our lapa. We never knew what it was, so we tried catching it by prodding it with a stick to move into a large drum we had placed in front of it, until it lifted its head and opened up as a cobra does! Lesson learned: Be EXTRA cautious if you don't know what it is or what it can do!
