Nice photos man.

Sure that's Turners gecko Pachydactylus turneri.

They can be difficult to tell apart though.

Cool finds.

Not difficult to tell apart if you look at the distribution maps.
P. turneri occurs at Hoedspruit, bibroni doesn't.

Eyelash - Did you not see any pythons or Shieldnose snakes? Dead or alive.

Nice trip. The "Nucras" is actually a Trachylepis margaritifer, Rainbow skink, and I'm not even going to venture a guess with the thread snake. The "M.varia" is indeed a Variable skink, but they have changed names to Trachylepis varia instead of Mabuya varia. Same goes for Sundevall's writhing skink, which has changed from Lygosoma sundevalli to Mochlus sundevalli. Good stuff, and please keep posting!

Haha...Rob...You just beet me to it...I just check the maps and saw that P.turneri occurs between Mozam and South Africa and not Bibron's haha...
Rob...I didn't see any(was the coldest week ever in Hoedspruit for me),but I know for a fact that there are 100's of them around...I have caught both on the farm before and didn't really look...I also know that a member recently caught 3 adult Shield's in the area...Here is a pic of one and a pic of a small python I caught about 7 years ago...
