Kicking Myself Merrily (Rinkhals)

After much deliberation, and some real brow-beating myself, I set this one up in my permanent rack, along with some other captive juveniles that I have here. I had taken everyone's comments and thoughts into consideration, and decided the best thing for this one, and the wild populations out there, was to keep it, breed it, and make it's life an absolute pleasure to be in captivity. Before anyone bashes me, this was not an easy decision, as I am not particular to keeping WC.

Cleaned out her enclosure yesterday, and she was feeling a little "shy", so I took the opportunity to take this shot, while she was still curled up...

And when I opened the holding tub, to move her back to her enclosure, I was greeted with this...

Man, small snakes are fast! Although she rarely hoods, and has never spat at me, I still treat her like my other demonically possessed rinkhals... This little one is, in my opinion, going to be a stunner at adult age. My other rink lightened with age, but this one seems to be darkening some, but still absolutely beautiful IMPO...

Thanks for all the advice and comments everyone. Much appreciated in every way.

Yes, it probably will bite you if you carry on that way...

Forgot to add the head close-up, once she was back in her enclosure... Image

kfc223, you can still see some of that coloration coming through on the scales in front of the eye, but she has a blueish/greenish tinge in sunlight, so will get some outdoor shots once the weather warms up.

Thanks again all. Much appreciated!

Mr G, thanks for the compliment. Really want to set up an in-situ type shot with my rinks, but the bigger one would be quite a handful, but once the weather clears here, I will take some photos worthy of showing her, or try.
