Hybridizing garters

Interspecies breeding and 2 headed snakes are the type of thing that would be discussed here. We are aware that these are controversial issues and some people feel strongly about their opinions on them. Please respect each other's views and keep discussions amicable.

Please do post some pictures when you get around to taking them.

8 is not a huge clutch but this is rather unusual. Please try to get photos of them and the parents too.

They should be easier to get onto mice than normal red sided garters.

PS I only have a female red sided garter left as my male died last week. Possibly we should put the pure ones together at some stage.

BV give me a call, will pm you my number.
I am getting another adult female red sided garter, I had ni issues getting my red sided garters onto mice, but I try to vary their diet as much as possible.

weener mice, rat pinks, live feeder fish, but my usual feed is I&J with calcium and mutli vitamin powder mixed into a bowl with an egg broken over it, and I let them eat as much as they can get in.

But we can make a plan BV.

Hi guys and girls, just had them gender checked and of the 5 I still have...
1 female
4 males
aka one pair and 3 single males, so first come first serve for the pair asking 600 and 350 for single males.

Ok, below are two snakes, the true checkered garter, from Graeme and mine.
the head is the giveaway.

Reason why I put them together is because without comparison, they look like normal checkered garters.
