Albino indigenous snakes - Pictures.

Postby Serpent » Wed Aug 28, 2013 8:41 am

I recently saw a picture on Facebook of an albino Mozambique spitting cobra, which I did not know existed. I have seen the albino night adder pictures, obviously house snakes are a given, and I once saw an albino herald snake.

What other specimens are floating around that have been photographed, past and present? Please post them here! I am sure there are many of us here that would love to see them.

Many thanks,

Yup, the albino Mozam. is at the Hartebeespoort Snake & Animal Park. I took a few pics of it, but they didn't come out too nicely. Every time I've been there, its either hidden away or moving constantly.

Here are a few pics of the Albino Mozambique spitter at the animal and snake park.
Me and Colin went there a few weeks ago. Really nice outing.

The Mozambique looks like a leucistic rather than albino.

I saw the pics on FB, this Albino Mozam does have red eyes. In the one pic I saw, the eyes looked red.
