Very nice. Thanks for sharing Deon. Those are all great looking snakes. The colour of that butter is so striking its unreal. I love the albino with the stripe. Beautiful.

Greetings Deon

Not to get nitpicky or anything, but isn't Amel and Albino one and the same thing.

Hi roland, amels (amelanotic)lack of pigment, (Lacking melanin) so yes it is a form of albino but in amel house snake all have dark eyes so there is still colour present in their eyes, albino's also lack melanin in their skin but have no melanin in eyes. Look nicely at the above pic of house snakes, the very red house (true albino) lacks melanin in skin and eyes ................simply put amels lack melanin in skin only, Albino's lack melanin in skin and eyes, hope that helps

Wow, they look awesome!
Do the butters keep that fantastic yellow colour as they age?

Thanks Deon

Not to sow confusion, would you say the T+ is Amel and T- Albino or vice-versa.
I ask because my understanding of the situation is that the difference between T+ and T- is essentially the eye colour.
Or am I totally on the wrong track here.

Hi Roland, ok lets settle this confusion once and for all, can any members here post head shot close up of eyes, then we can settle all the morph mamba jumbo, and what they believe their house snake to be:

I think that's a very good plan indeed. I must say that t- albino of yours is what 'by definition' a true albino. And that butter has keep its colours so brilliantly looks more yellow. Great stuff.
