These beauties arrived last week. I have wanted to try my hand at these incredible snakes for a long time so I’m over the moon they are finally here. Thank you, Snakes 4Africa for these youngsters.
I hope you enjoy.

Very Nice, congrats!

I hope they grow into huge adults and give you lots of babies:)
One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.

Got to see these two over the weekend; so so tiny its unbelievable. I understand now why people say they are very fragile at that age. Congrats again Michael.

Thanks guys. I'm really enjoying them they are fascinating little snakes! I would imagine the colour change with these guys would be quite interesting. I will update this topic as they change.

Thought I would post a quick update on these guys. They have been such phenomenal snakes to keep. They eat like beasts and are growing nicely! I really couldn’t be happier. Her are a few pictures I took on the weekend.

A few more pictures of a baby Sorong type that I’m currently keeping for a friend. This snake is also just a pleasure to keep, and has such stunning colours!

Absolutely stunning! Can't decide which I like most. Do both variants end up green?

Yes Carla they will both end up green, the Biaks (the red ones) should actually have quite a bit of yellow on them too as adults. :D

Thanks Eugene! I’m just waiting for the other red one to shed, then I’ll post a few pics of it. It’s a much darker red and those light patches are bright yellow.

Last week I was discussing a point with another well known Chondro breeder. At the rate that Indonesia will be clamping down on exports, in the near future, pure lines of Chondros will become very valuable. I would be trying to breed the purest snake with each other and then possibly in future these will be worth far more than what they are today.
