GTP won't eat.

my male GTP won't eat.
OFF for almost two months. (Dec. 2015 to Jan. 30, 2016)
EAT for two weeks. (Jan. 31 and Feb. 07, 2016)
OFF again from Feb. 08, 2016 until today.
he looks skiny. Is this normal because of the breeding season?

HI Ichrd

That does sound abnormal to me. I have a Chondro that eats all year round, also a male, and I feed every 10 days or so. Environmental factors can impact feeding responses, do you maintain the correct temps and humidity levels ? How big is he, judging by the photos and obvious colour change, he is at least a sub-adult, perhaps its time to upgrade to a larger enclosure.

@ichrd it does look a little thin, as neilbarker mentioned try a larger tank, as well as heat and spray once or twice a week just enough to make the tank moist but able to dry by the night. I use a ceramic heater attached to the roof of the tank and my snakes have not refused a meal, not even when they about to shed. Do you know if he was a wild caught import? Because maybe try a dewormer if once the heat is up and he still doesn't eat.

We need to know the history of the snake to help you properly. You need to tell us everything! How Old is it ? Where did it come from ? Is it wild caught ? How has it travelled ? Has it had medicines before ? How long have you had it ? How many owners had it before you ? anything you can think of.
