I've been checking up on here religiousely every 6hours or so, as I feared she will lay them onto the heatpad.
This is my 1st glance this morning...


But tightly under mother's coils are the rest of the eggs


She huffed and puffed a bit,but I safely removed her eggs from her without injury


26 and one infertile in total.She obviousely has lost a lot of weight and I actually fealt bad taking her eggs.I think one day I will set up a cage for her to incubate her eggs by herself.

Thanks Kev and Westley.Ye.all but one looks good,but they where allready quite hard when I got to them.Whilst seperating them,one egg pulled of quite a bit of the one next to it and left a very thin patch-hope it's OK,but the rest all looks good.So I had to leave the rest of the clutch intact.

At last Ferdo. Take some roller towel and fold a double layer. place it over those dented eggs and moisten it, not sopping, but moist. Check every 2 days and moisten when necesarry until those dents have dissappeared. Best of luck Buddy. How are the others that I am interested in coming along.

Thanks Roland.The dented ones was the ones that was just laying around in the cage-They all now safely in the humid incubator.The others are bellytanning like beached whales still-hopefully quite soon

Thanks guys.I am very happy indeed.They should take just under 2 months to hatch.Any idea what I can fix the one egg with that has a thin part in the shell now?I think it will rupture once it starts to swell.I am actually concidering putting a piece of ductape over the thin part.Good idea-or bad idea?
