hi guys
just showing off the great colour change of my female carpet python. shes about 18months old and i had her from hatchling size so i could see the colour change nicely. she was a dull brown colour when i got her

i do have a male indeed :D a bit older, bigger and as with all us males, a LOT uglier. haha
the male is not as striking in colour though, bit still pretty
would be nice to get a nice yellow male for her though. the hatchlings would be awesome

Pandy, these quite a lot of people breeding carpet pythons so just keep an eye open atfer breeding season.also if you can get to any expo's you are certain to see some.

Carpets are really nice, its starteing to get difficult in the UK to get pure bred Jungles, as many people are opting for the Hybrid route these days, EG, Jungle Jag... So if you have a true pair, best hold on to it, coz they will be worth a bit in the near future...

just for the record guys. this is a normal morelia spilote variegata, not a jungle. thats why i'm so surprised at the light colours.
