An update - This snake was released as she wouldnt eat. I didnt want her to lay her eggs with me as she may be too thin and tired to be released afterwards so She has a better chance now.
Interestingly, in a recent book review on Johan Marais book, Donald Broadley makes the comment that KZN is known to have green female Boomslang so i guess its no secret. Is there anything that man doesnt know?
