BOOMSLANG in captivity

Postby gino » Tue May 26, 2009 11:31 am

I would like to see some cage setups that guys are keeping Boomslang in?

Im helping someone build a huge cage for a male Boomslang that they had since baby(2005). It is growing itself out if its cage, reaching 1.5m.

I already have the right cage in mind with very nice fake trees&leaves etc i would juts like to see what your setups look like.

If anyone has a few spare minutes to post then, ill really appreciate it.

What the cage looks like is not too important as these snake are very easy to keep once they have settled down. I have found they do much better when they can see the sun rise and the sun sets. Even if they do not get to bask they seem to do much better when the sun is near the cage and they remain in a decent light cycle.
