Mr G just the wise ones. It reflects light and the spitters go for the wrong target!

Not my house, but the Lapa where the snakes are staying.
I am lucky enough to stay on a farm and having space to build is no problem. ;)

Here are a few pics of Forry, my West African melanoleuca; he's about 2.6m, as alert as the polylepis, and doesn't bother with the tiresome traits of the lesser Naja species, such as hooding and mock-striking. He's awesome :D

At that size i dont think he needs to hiss and hood to be intimidating, very nice.

He's been with a female a few times before I got him; I've had Tygerberg Zoo wanting him, but they've got South Eastern ones, and quite frankly, I'm not that keen on letting any of my snakes be with any from the zoo...
He's too big to hook and tail, so I handle him like an O. hannah, control of the tail and extremely good charge-evasion technique ;)
