He is very handsome fellow. How big is he?
And God has Created every animal from water, of them are some creeping on their bellies, some walk on two legs, and some on four. God Creates what He wills, for sure God has Power over all things. (Noble Quran 24:45)

Nice snake. Be careful with ropes and wires to hold up cage decorations. I have seen snakes try to go through these loops and get stuck. Rather just try to screw them to the sides of the cage.

Do you have a female for him?

Wow. Stunning animal the Green Mamba... so graceful looking.

Question though: Is the Green Mamba able to spread a "hood" like it's cousin the Black Mamba?
I know they'd rather take flight through the tree tops than stand their ground, but is it possible and has anyone ever witnessed them doing it?

Hi there Fredsmith. My mamba has not shown me any hood like the black mambas, it rather does the traditional s striking pose. If he gets mad enough he will open his mouth and go into the s bend. " That is when I normaly duck and dive" lol

Pythondave the best thing I found out on experimenting was that finches work the best with him. It is just finding a good stock that is the problem. I have gotten some reactions on big geckos, but not as filling. Still need to try mice, battling to get. The pet shop here does not have any stock for a while.

Sorry if there is spelling errors. (Fixed BV)

(Spelling mistakes if you have a condition or language barrier are difficult to overcome however by typing in a word processing programme with a spell and grammar checker and then just cutting and pasting the text will solve both your and our problem)

Never had any problems with greens taking pre-killed mice and they were all WC. If it fails in the beginning just move the mouse around a bit with tweezers, sure to get them interested.

Try thefeederfactory.co.za if you are battling to get mice from the local.
