Beyond the call of Duty to Catch Rinkhals

Postby spinnerak » Tue Jun 08, 2010 3:03 pm

This is what I had to do to remove a rinkhals from an elderly couples home this morning. They told me they wanted it gone and if it meant ripping up the concrete driveway, then I had their full permission to do it..

Herewith the aftermath of my 3 hours of intense labour to catch above mentioned snake. It showed itself at the bottom right hand side of the concrete driveway and ended up at the top right hand side and eventually got it out unhurt, just very agro

I am beyond tired.... but I will go beyond what is expected of me so that they too may live a full life....

Looks like hard work! I simply love hard work... I can watch people doing it all day. LOL
What size was the Rinkhals? Got some shots of it?

The size of the Rinkhals is approximately 50 cm and not much to write home about. I will post a photo of him/her a little later on during the day.

i can imagine you would sit and watch whilst others do the dirty work.

I take it the owners of the house and driveway aren't all that keen on snakes then?

That is madness! Crazy people! I know they weren't too keen on the snake but that's a bit extreme. Well done to you

Well done - can't say no if people ask for your help even if it means a few hours of hard labour.

I have taken apart whole kombuis cupboards and smashed baths to get snakes out... so I feel your pain!

Good on you. Ive also been there, done that. Unfortunately it does take up time and effort and sometimes the snake is long gone already.
And God has Created every animal from water, of them are some creeping on their bellies, some walk on two legs, and some on four. God Creates what He wills, for sure God has Power over all things. (Noble Quran 24:45)
