I am with Froot on this. Keep that one and drop the others off in small groups anywhere where there are lots of small toads. That is probably all they will eat at this age.

Please help to identify this snake. I apologise for bringing up an old thread but this snake seems to resemble the ones on the previous page.

I know what I am hoping it is, but I need an objective answer. Here goes

Thanks for the response. It would be nice to strengthen the confirmation from other members. I don't want to jump the gun. I'm very busy with work so I do what I can on rinkhals in my spare time. If this turns out to be a rinkhals it may be our most exciting find to date.

Hi Atropos. Why do all those pics resemble Mpumalanga Rinkhals ?
If I'm gonna be an old, lonely man, I'm gonna need a thing, you know, a hook, like that guy on the subway who eats his own face. So I figure I'll be Crazy Man with a Snake, y'know. Crazy Snake Man. And I'll get more snakes, call them my babies, kids won't walk past my place, they will run. "Run away from Crazy Snake Man, " they'll shout!”

That is very interesting Atropos, that the Nivea and Heamachatus babies look so similar. Do you think this is a locality occurrence, or can anyone else comment that they have had offspring of the two looking so similar?
