Groenslang, thank you for the compliment.

She is a real monster, and can't wait to see what she looks like in 6 months, and 1 year's, time... I will update this post as she progresses though.

Well, it's been a few months since I posted here, and she was out and about the other night, so I decided to try and take some shots. Only one photo was half decent... And without further ado, here she is, again... Enjoy!

Very good looking Rinkhals you have there. Hopefully she gets even better with age.

I've been thinking of getting a pair of these, such beautiful snakes.

Kfc223, thanks for the compliment, she is the jewel of my menagerie.

I'm hoping that her coloration and patterning settle down now. Rinkhals are real pleasures to work with... Especially our local ones. I have never seen a local (my area) hemach feign death. But I have seen, regularly, how they rear up, hood and move forward, like the snouties, and make 'pfft'-type hisses, while spitting/striking repeatedly. They are real clowns, IMHO, but they will always have a special place in my heart... And never underestimate them! Mine teaches me that every single time I work with her. They are beautiful, intelligent, inquisitive, and oh so dangerous. ;)

Hey all. I noticed something the other day, as far as the markings on this little girl go, and I was wondering if anyone else here can see what I see?! I'll give it a few days, and then upload a pic showing what I noticed. I thought it was pretty cool...

Roland... You know about this one, so shhh... ;)

Well, it's been quite a while since I posted an update here...

This little one is looking like an absolute stunner, and I can't wait to get my hands on a mate for it!

Thanks for the compliment Kenny. Really need to find a locality partner for this beasty.
