I'm hoping that her coloration and patterning settle down now. Rinkhals are real pleasures to work with... Especially our local ones. I have never seen a local (my area) hemach feign death. But I have seen, regularly, how they rear up, hood and move forward, like the snouties, and make 'pfft'-type hisses, while spitting/striking repeatedly. They are real clowns, IMHO, but they will always have a special place in my heart... And never underestimate them! Mine teaches me that every single time I work with her. They are beautiful, intelligent, inquisitive, and oh so dangerous.
