Crazy idea

Normally when you see a picture like this you will think this person is crazy.


Not even a shot like this puts you at ease. With the neck bending the way it is you would still guess that this is a stiletto snake (Atractaspis bibroni).


However a quick look at the naughty bits will put your mind at ease.


Stiletto snakes do not have a divided anal shield or paired subcaudals. This is a Common purple glossed snake.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.

Beautiful snake its amazing how they look alike, I really thought that guy is crazy.

If it was a stilleto he would have to be crazy, I was bitten by a stilletto a few years ago and I can tell you it was not fun!
