SOS Expo animals. (Dial Up Warning)

Postby Bushviper » Mon Apr 02, 2012 3:18 pm

I have managed to land some animals on behalf of Prehistoric pets who will be selling at the expo. The snakes are all in quarantine and I took pictures of a few. I dont know the prices yet but being an expo I think they may be similar to the US prices.

My favourite snake in the shipment is this girl.
Ivory with jet black eyes and a lovely snake to work with.
Image

Hypo jungle boa. This can make super jungles (almost striped) and this one is poss het albino too.
Image

Good example of a hypo boa. Yearling too.
Image

Het granite Burmese pythons. These you can see are hets. It will easy to spot these in any subsequent clutches
Image

Dwarf Lavender albino retic. Nice snake that will probably not get bigger than 3 meters. Its also poss het for Genetic stripe.
Image

Large Coral albino. Nice pink spots on its face and sides. Others often lose this when they get to this size.
Image

Anthrax retic. Unusual morph.
Image

Platinum and Ultra Ivory retics. The pics do not do them justice. Come see them in the flesh!
Image

Pearl burmese. Hypo (het leucistic) and albino all rolled into one. Mixed with the Hypo het albinos she will give you both black eyed and red eyed leucistic burmese!!!
Image

Small high contrast albino. This girl will be pretty when she grows up.
Image

My babies. Super dwarf Platinum. They will make a pure white snake with black eyes that will not grow more than 2.5 metres! This has not been done yet but will be done before i get it right. I have to wait 4 more years! This girl is already one year old.
Image

I will post more as and when I get around to taking more pictures. I have no idea about prices yet but will try to find out.

These high end morphs will not be imported again so they are investment snakes.

The het granite Burmese is my favourite.

I have always had a "thing" for granite Burmese, and just to see the hets look a bit unique is pretty awesome.

BV, thanx to you and whomever else was involved in bringing these animals in. You are doing the hobby in SA a massive favour.

Wow, amazing animals.

Would it be too much trouble to kindly request some of the other folk who'll be exhibiting at this expo to perhaps also post a few teaser pics of what they will have on display?

This is the expo I look forward to most every year, for those who haven't been before, it's definitely an event worth marking off on your calendar.
