Desert Rain Frog Faces Destruction

Postby Westley Price » Mon Aug 06, 2012 3:37 pm

Not the most scientific article, but a species VERY close to my heart in a habitat I know all too well.

What a shame. Amphibians are really taking a knock the past few years!

The frog is just one of a huge number of species that inhabits those dunes. Its amazing how an EIA overlooks an extreemly fragile ecosystem so easily! Wonder what Nature Con is doing to protect all those animals?

Most reptiles and amphibians are taking heavy blows these days.

It is very sad indeed, and I must say I am not very proud of our species.
