I would like to know the Legalities and permits needed for keeping Aurora's in Gauteng.
And how to get the permits .
Also if anyone knows of breeders close by Bronkhorstspruit/Pretoria could you please post your/their info ?

Any help appreciated

long story really. I dont know anybody who has any available on permit but make sure you apply for the permits before receiving the snakes. You aaply for these through GDACE. Google it. You also need import and transport permits but phone them up. Many guys out there will tell you that they have permits but they never deliver the documentation with the animal. That remains illegal in every respect.

Aurora House snakes also are not the easiest snakes to keep. So make sure you do not go catch wild caught Auroras as they DO NOT do well in captivity. You will possibly find one out of 10 who will adapt, but it's not worth it.

@Gaboon69 : I have trouble connecting to their site but I will try again
@Bushbaby : I do know about the feeding problems , that is why IF I buy one I would look out for a young adult that is feeding on pinks . And no I wont go pluck one out of its natural habitat.
