It would seem I might have an interview lined up for the Friday and staying over another day would not cost more so I want a prize that can fit on the plane with me.

Hmmm, snakes on a plane, didn't they already make a movie about that!

If so I will be there... :-D

Hey Guys and Girls,

Reptiles Unlimited will be sponsoring a collapsible M1 Midwest Grabstick or a pair of Ball Pythons for the lucky draw. (Winner's choice)

Donald Schultz and Devon Massyn have confirmed their attendance at the braai and have a few tricks of their own in store for you guys. It really is going to be a fantastic day and hope to see all of you there.

Perfect time for transport to go away for me isn't it?

Once again, maybe next time.

Hey Everyone,

Clinton from Just Ball Pythons is sponsoring a temperature controller as a lucky draw prize for the braai on Saturday, thank you so much Clinton. I have a few of these controllers and believe me you will be hard pressed to find a better contoller and best of all it is made up right here in DBN. What an awesome response guys.

I have even had offers of some collectors items for the braai, but have asked the donator if we could use those for a fund raising auction planned for next year.

Judging by the positive response I have received, it might be advisable to bring along a few chairs for yourselves. There are chairs at the venue but I think we might run out. Although I am sure many of the guys will be discussing pertinent issues around the fire.

Also there has been a suggestion that we get a functioning association here in KZN. I do believe it is way overdue. I know attempts have been made in the past but I think with a slightly different approach we could make a huge success out of it. BV has agreed to say a few words about the importance of establishing an association at the braai, whereafter attendees can vote whether they support the notion or not. Give it some thought over the next few days.

Til Saturday

where do I sign up? We need something a little more formal, but that's the word that scares people off. We'll have to keep it causal-formal:-)

Just also want to point out that in KZN we currently have an exceptional and influential group of great people in love with this hobby. A functioning association wil promote a sense of unity and for once as a province we can actually stand and be counted when pressing matters arise.

A really big thumbs up to everyone who has donated prizes, most people don't realize that nobody is obliged to offer prizes, they are willingly funded by each donor and all add great value to the occasion. So big kudos to JP, Byron, Paul, Ferdo and Roland.
