KZN Reptile Keepers Braai 1/2011

Postby Reptiles Unlimited » Sun Mar 27, 2011 9:12 pm

Hey Guys and Girls,

The first KZN Reptile keepers braai for 2011 is scheduled for 30th April, which, is only a few weeks away. Due to the success of the previous braais it is suggested we use the same venue at New Germany Nature Reserve, although there have been calls to move the venue to keep it fresh. Obviously these braais are for all of us and if there is a better suggestion then please lets hear it. I am well aware that the Sharks will be playing the Stormers that day but have made arrangements for the game to be played in Cape Town and for them only to start after our braai. SARU have been very accomodating in this regard. :D

As it stands currently the details are as follows:

Date: 30th April 2011
Time: 12:00 - 17:00
Bring and braai.

Reptiles Unlimited will supply the charcoal.

It would be great to see some of the new forum members at the braai. It is an excellent opportunity to meet like minded people and get exposed to people with a great deal of knowledge to share.

See you all there.

Pity - I'll be in PE over that weekend. What's the story about the braai next weekend, after the handling course? Is that still happening? I thought it was a KZN Reptile Keepers Braai, but maybe I was confused.

I might be in PE that weekend... or I might make it!! Will let you know.

Jen, the braai after the course is just a get together, and not an official KZN Reptile Keepers braai.

I will be at the Braai. I think we should keep the Venue where it is because we all know where it is.
Are there any Prizes at this one, I will donate a pair of Creamsicle Corns.

Is this the same weekend as the course?

Thank you Roland,

That is very generous of you.

As usual the more people there the merrier. A great deal of our focus at ARK is on Education, so if you know anyone who is even remotely interested in Reptiles send me their details and I will send them an e mail. We need to grow our hobby and the only way is to introduce new people to the joys of keeping reptiles.
See you all there.
