What we have started is an initiative whereby we donate some frozen snake food, mice and rats to the reserve.
They keep a few display animals and do not really have the funds to keep feeding the animals.
We always use their venue and so we show our appreciation by donating food to them. They do have the freezers to stock the food.

Hey Guys and Girls,

Just to confirm the braai is on for Sunday come rain or shine. If anyone is able to assist with frozen rodents it would be great appreciated, if not there is a donations box available. The money raised this way is used to look after the snakes at New Germany Nature Reserve.

It will be a great event as usual and I have had good numbers confirming their attendance.

We will also be electing the ARK Comittee. The following people has been nominated and are willing to serve on the ARK comittee so far.

Chairman JP Wittstock
Vice Chairman Clinton Thomson
Treasurer Paul Venter
Secretary Samantha Berry
Voters can accept these persons on sunday or nominate additional candidates if they desire.

See you all there

If you can organise a decent camping site in Cape Town I'm sure we can get some KZN members to join you. Lol
