Apex Predators Snake Park Visit

Postby Hoss » Mon Feb 18, 2013 6:55 pm

Had an opportunity this weekend to visit the Apex Predators Snake Park just outside East London. Really really nice setup and so much to see and do. I have added a couple photos below. Please excuse my poor photography skills as I'm just starting out with DSLR's and I was really missioning to take the photos through the glass fronts of the enclosures, as the reflections in most of the images will attest.

Really a good way to spend a day and so much to see. We spent about six hours there and I realized afterwards that I didn't take a single picture of any of the Naja species on display! Didn't even get around to checking out the restaurant at the park! :D

Lekker. What is the small adder in number 8 ?
If I'm gonna be an old, lonely man, I'm gonna need a thing, you know, a hook, like that guy on the subway who eats his own face. So I figure I'll be Crazy Man with a Snake, y'know. Crazy Snake Man. And I'll get more snakes, call them my babies, kids won't walk past my place, they will run. "Run away from Crazy Snake Man, " they'll shout!”

All of them are real nice specimens indeed, love the Black Mambas.

I'll definitely put a visit to this place on my bucket list.

Thanks for the pics !
