Good day to all, would like to know if Limpopo start a Herpetological Associations , based in Mokopane( Potgietersrus) what will the voting be.Yes its a good thing or No it will not work.

The towns that we would like to cover from Musina( Mesina) to Belle Bella ( Warmbath).

I am aware of all the rumors that is doing the rounds.

Also would like to have positive input and help.

I feel there should be at least one association per province. That way the authorities have a body to talk to when they want to make changes in the laws or if they are approached to made changes where required.

Go for it.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.

Thanks for the response, I could just think of all the paperwork that need to be done. Any constitutions, letters and other info that you used that you could share with me will make my life much easier, i do not what to re-invent the wheel , if it is possible. Please and Thanks.

No problem. I really hope you can build up a good relationship with the authorities.

We have very little hassle with Gauteng and the conditions to get permits are not unreasonable.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Greetings all, Just to let you know that there is a very active Herp society in Phalaborwa. Surrounded on 4 sides by bush (including KNP) means plenty of reptiles. We have a number of members qualified for rescues of all types and we are very busy (the activity is permitted by our Province.)Look forward to sharing with you all!
