This course will also include how to deal with venomous snakes in captivity too. That has been one of the requests since the course started. Force feeding venomous will also be dealt with.

Hi BV and BB. I would also like to know whether you plan to host this event on a regular basis, and when if possible, since we are in the Western Cape and would like to make plans to attend sometime in the future :)

Chamcode I was told by someone in the Western Cape that it would not be worth my while to do a course there as they knew what to do and if they felt anyone needed a course they would hold it themselves. If you can get 10 people together I will fly down and come do one for you.

BV, are you planning on maybe doing a HANDLING course in Durban anytime this year?

I second that. Would love to attend one!
One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.

Yes, I feel the same - I had a chat to BV a while back so hopefully there will be one on the cards soon. I would really like it if he could also do a husbandry course, perhaps over the same weekend.

I have done a few husbandry courses down there in the past. I could combine a snake bite and ID together with a handling course in Durban. Let me see how things work out.

Hi all,

We have not held a Husbandry Course for a while. I would like to see if there are enough people interested to schedule a course.

Should you be interested, please post your name and the area you are in. If there is enough interest we can finalise a date.

I would love to attend but Pretoria is a problem for me - I'm in the East Rand. No reliable transport.
