I went to this course when it was offered to us here in East London. We handled a forest cobra, puff adder and boom slang. We were shown how to do this safely with a hook stick / grab stick. We were shown how to tube and safely " neck " venomous snakes (as can be seen in a video that bv put on YouTube ( search " handling and milking video" on this forum)).

It is definitly worth going to the course, there is so much that you can learn in a day and as I'm sure we all know, you can always learn something new.

Nobody is going to be necking the snakes. I do show you how to pin a snake with tools but that is not necking.

Obviously if the situation allows then tailing will be taught but not on species such as puff adders.

It depends which snakes we have for the day which will be handled.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.
