Frozen mice are also a good option, no cleaning and killing. But I find that some of my snakes wont eat mice / rats that was frozen, I really have no idea why. As lillypod said, newspaper are also a good option but if you have a lot of mice not the best option, needs a lot of cleaning! What you are feeding is fantastic, Rodent cubes are a balanced meal for your mice and rats, but to safe some money in the long run you can give them dog food as well, sunflower seeds (but not to much, just as a treat). I like cutting fresh carrots for them, they seem to enjoy it very much me. They seem to enjoy bread pieces as well. I know they should not eat cabbage, brussel sprout, green potatoes and sweet potatoes. But Epol and Avi plus - rodent cubes alone is good enough for them. I just like giving something extra to kill the guilt a little bit, I've grown to like these little critters, but at the end of the day, my reptiles have to eat as well. ;)
Crazy, not stupid...........
